Ms. O'Neill is a certified public accountant. She has over twenty
years of accounting, tax, and business experience. She has held
positions such as the managing partner of Brooks Stednitz & Rhodes
Accountancy Corporation and the managing partner of the San Jose office
of Sterck Kulik O'Neill accounting group, inc.
Ms. O'Neill heads up the Tax and Accounting Division of Rundquist &
Associates, LLP. She specializes in complex tax issues and planning for
corporations, large families with intricate ownership issues,
partnerships, trusts, estates, and individuals. She has also worked with
small and medium sized businesses to help them better understand their
business. With a better understanding of their business, they can
operate more efficiently and become more profitable.
Ms. O'Neill graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor degree
in economics and from Golden Gate University with a master of science in
taxation. She holds an active CPA license in California. She also holds
memberships in the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and
the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ms. O'Neill is active in the community. She served on the Board of Books
Aloud, which is a nonprofit organization which puts books and other
literature on tape for those who cannot read by conventional methods for
over 10 years. She has been on the Board of Christmas in the Park and
Junior Achievement. She is currently on the Board of Directors for
Institute for Canine Forensics and Canine Specialist Search Team.
Ms. O’Neill has recently been appointed to serve a three year term on
the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel of the IRS. The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel
(TAP) listens to taxpayers, identifies taxpayers issues and makes
suggestions for improving IRS service and customer satisfaction. The TAP
acts as a two-way conduit; serving as a focus group for the IRS
providing input on strategic initiatives, as well as providing a venue
for raising issues identified by citizens.
